Why Is Facebook Crashing My Computer?

My Windows Explorer has recently begun to crash whenever I get a Facebook email. Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Probably a faulty add-on. Go to tools/internet options/advance and do a reset, or to /manage add-ons and remove or disable whatever is unnecessary. Or switch to Firefox.

You should also scan for viruses. Viruses enjoy using email and Facebook, and they will happily crash your Explorer.exe without giving too much of a damn.

I had to stop using IE because of Facebook. Switch to Chrome, it's even better than Firefox. No Facebook problems at all.
