Where is this quote from?

"Put your tray tables and seats in an upright position. Turn off all electronic devices. Fasten your seat belts. Remove your tie, sir."
Apparently, I should know where this quote comes from. I don't. Google only shows me items for sale with this quote.
But I know you guys will know it.
Setting my timer to see how long it takes!
Best answer: My guess would be it'snt some kind of movie quote or something, but a sales pitch for those "Remove before flight" ties and lanyards that show up in your Google searches. It might either be thought up by the producer, or just one of the seller and then copied everywhere.

Best answer: I don't think it's a quote from anything, I think it's just a joke to go with those ties they're selling. The "remove before flight" tagline is something you see on little banners or streamers at airports, and some people are selling things like ties, shirts, and underwear with the same tagline as a joke, so the above quote is just a jokey extension of it to sell the products.

Best answer: The tie resembles flags that are attached to pins on the airplane body that keep certain parts stationary while the plane is not moving. These pins must be removed before flight, so they are clearly labeled with red flags. The joke is that the flight attendant is telling the passenger to remove their tie, as if the plane cannot take off while it is in place.

Best answer: Yeah it's not a quote, just a joke from the remove before flight tags on planes. Wikipedia, picture.
