Upgrading Photoshop CS

Can I still upgrade my copy of Photoshop CS to Photoshop CS4?

I have a copy of Photoshop CS I'd like to upgrade. Photoshop CS is not eligible for upgrade to CS5, the latest version. It was eligible for upgrade to CS4, but I can't find CS4 upgrade packages on sale anywhere anymore. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Are you a student? Teacher? Know a student? The education discount for Photoshop CS5 is a pretty sweet deal.

Response by poster: I'm not a student or teacher. I have a kid in pre-school and another being home schooled. My wife works part time for a school board. I dont know if any of that qualifies us for a discount...

I'm not sure i would trust any photoshop deals found on ebay... Am I wrong about that? How would I verify it was legit?

That eBay listing looks incredibly sketchy. If it's too good to be true (and from a user with 1 feedback and no location), it probably is a scam.

Do you want the entire Creative Suite or just Photoshop CS5?

Response by poster: I just an upgrade to photoshop cs, not the creative suite. cs4 or cs5 would be fine.

Your wife may qualify for an educational discount, based on her working for the school board. You'll have to check with that. This page has the details of who's eligible.

Adobe no longer sells Photoshop CS4. If you can't get the educational discount, the one other thing to try would be to call sales at 877-822-3623. I wouldn't hold out hope for that, but it's worth a try.
