This little piggy went weeweeweeweeweeweewee after receiving a foot massage

Can you recommend a foot massage gadget that works a treat?
I know someone who has very sensitive feet, so much so that when receiving a foot massage he flails about and makes Tourette-like utterances. He'll also rub his sock feet against the carpet while sitting on the couch because he says it feels good. What little foot massager gadgets would you recommend as a gift for such a person? I'm thinking inexpensive here — under $50 at the outside.

Someone gave us one of these last year. I'm against gadgets I have to dust, but relented when it actually felt pretty good. The heat setting is faaaabulous in winter too.

If he likes the carpet, he'll LOVE the Foot Log Roller. I've had one for years.

I have a wider version of batmonkey's thing, you can usually get them for $5-10 at a local Chinatown. They're also pretty nice if you want lay on them and work your back as well.

I've been using a wooden foot roller for years, it's one of my favorite things for the feet. I'm sure it's widely available on lots of websites. It's real easy to vary the pressure, depending on whether you're sitting or standing, on carpeting or bare floors. For someone with sensitive feet, I'd say start off sitting on the sofa and putting less weight on the roller.
