sharing a file online

Where can I post a file online so that I can link to it in a way that others can click that link, then view the file? Similar to photobucket, except with a Word or PDF document...

I am creating an auction catalog that I would like to post online. My Web site isn't finished yet. So I want to take that file, a Word document, and upload it to a site similar to photobucket that will provide me a link. Then I want to send that link to my clients so they can simply click the link, and then see the catalog. Any way to do this online?

I believe this is what scribd.com is good for.

You could also do it with Dropbox.

Yup, cam here to say the public folder of Dropbox will do this for free.
