Can you geeks help me retrieve my Facebook status updates from ancient times, i.e. mid-2008 & before?

I am a compulsive status-updater on Facebook. I realized yesterday that I had basically written a diary for 2009 by updating so consistently, so I went through & copy/pasted all my entries to a word doc for posterity. When I tried to attack 2008 this morning, I found that I could only get the postings through August'08. I'm sad & want the rest of them--should go back as far as Fall'07. Is there a secret wayback machine way of getting the info? I am not technically inclined and haven't tried anything more than clicking "older posts" at the bottom of my wall.

Relevant info: I haven't opted out of the new privacy settings, so my newer stuff is all internet-searchable & viewable by anyone. I don't want to put my real name on AskMefi because this is where I ask embarrassing questions, but just know it's out there.

Try backupify I use it for backing up my twitter updates and it backs up and compiles them into a nice pdf as well as xls files. Looks like they support facebook.

Just last night I wrote a python program to download all status updates for a given friend. Mefi mail me and we could connect in fb-from there I could try and download earlier status updates.
