"You Hosting Tonight? Got some of the best Faves ever" What could this possibly mean?

My friend got this text message from a wrong number, and we were all stumped as to what on earth it could possibly mean. Could you help me out, Hivemind? I'm just very curious about this; it sounds really funny out of context. For the record, it was received at 1am today (Sunday) from a number in our area code.

It's a misdirected booty call, essentially. The other person wants to know if your friend (or rather, the person s/he was trying to reach) has the place to him/herself (can "host"). "Faves" is probably short for "favors" which is short for "party favors" which is a less than clever way of saying drugs.

Clearly, the sender is running a discussion board website and doesn't understand how bookmarks work.

Or it's from a person who's picking up cute girls at a bar and needs to find a place to serve them drugs.

One or the other.

Response by poster: Good answers guys; apparently when my friend texted back the person thought my friend was "buddy dave from last saturday". So I think rokusan's second answer might be on the money, unless anyone else has another explanation.

Both "party favors" and "hosting" are part of the lingo used in the personals sections of craigslist.

Pretty you can invert sex and drugs, too, and it still makes sense: I have drugs and need a place for to do them. I have girls and need a place to.... um.... well you know.

The first part makes me think of hosting a video game server, such as Left for Dead or DotA (Defense of the Ancients). Friends prefer my husband to host because he has the better internet connection, and the server doesn't lag. Used in this context, Faves could have something to do with gaming characters or stats.
