Construction Accident at CUNY uptown campus yesterday?

Construction Accident at City University? Just the facts, please. (oh, such a strange explanation)
Was there an accident yesterday (Nov 30) at The City College at CUNY where a construction worker who was repairing the facade of building fell to his death?
It seems like a weird and ghoulish question but I really want to know because the story was relayed to me by someone I've come to think of as less than reliable. I'd like to be proven wrong and crazy-ish because that just seems so much better than having been close to someone who lies about things like that.
I've googled the bejebus out of the various phrases and came up with nothing. I looked at the creepily fascinating gothamist news map and nothing. Some of you must attend/teach/work at CUNY. Didja see anything?

Why don't you ask your unreliable friend to provide you with a web link to a story validating his claim? If he is unable to do so just forget it and move on.

I also heard the same thing as you did but don't know what the outcome was. There is construction being done on two nearby buildings including one which is part of CCNY and another which is a high school associated with CCNY.
I can neither confirm nor deny.

A worker's death at City College would make the news. There's nothing on Gothamist, Northattan, The Daily News, the Post, NY1, 1010 WINS, 880 WCBS, WNBC, WCBS or via googling combinations of harlem/hamilton heights/manhattanville and death/construction/accident.

Could it be that it isn't in the news because the family hasn't been notified?

Perhaps it was not an accidental fall and it is part of the media's self-imposed ban on reporting such incidents.

I don't think they'll get all secretive and say "why" but if pressed gust say you were concerned having heard it from an acquaintance but since it wasn't in the news you thought they got their facts wrong.
