What happens when a healthy female takes viagra?
I would swear that Susie Bright, sex columnist for Salon.com, took it and wrote about it, but I can't find it in Salon's crappy archive system. I don't recall all the details, but it wasn't anything like what it does to men.

I would guess that her clit will get very hard for a very long time.

The research I've read says it doesn't have much effect.

The Susie Bright piece -- to which all links appear to be dead -- called "Viagra Calls" indicated that she got fairly randy in an antsy rather than aroused way, enjoyed the sex but found herself engorged to the point where penetrative sex was not practical (!!!), and ultimately deemed it more frustration than it was worth.
I have heard a handful of other anecdotes with similar, though not identical, results, all of which were described as entirely positive experiences.

from The Vice Guide to Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll:
"There is a full on conspiracy to convince people that this pill doesn't work on women. For real, half a hit of viagra and their clitoris is poking out like ET's trying to phone home."

Effect-wise, from this federal government page:
Viagra and its competitors increase blood flow to the penis and are not known to affect female sexual activity.
