What's the trick to getting past this Advanced level of PopCap games, "Dynomite" (Stomped subgame, see image)?

This is embarrassing--just a dumb game, but it's making me crazy.

How do you get past this level? It always sets up the same, and the first three balls being shot are little mustached guys that must be the key, but I'm just not seeing how.

Is it just dumb luck that you get exactly the right colors needed?

hmm.. you may have already tried this, but you could try putting the three moustache eggs underneath the bottom (right) brick blocks, if they don't break from a combo, then you may be able to just take them down by getting a combo by breaking eggs above the brick line.

If not allegable, I hope you get the jist of what i said above.

Response by poster: Thanks for the idea. I've tried the first, and it didn't work, but I'll try it again, along with your second.....

I'm finally getting past this level pretty regularly. The mustached guys are irrelevant, except that you get used to firing them quickly and then don't always see how to use the next egg. It turns out that the bar across the bottom has weight and, if you look at it closely, it doesn't go all the way to the right wall. Once you eliminate some of the eggs above it, it will fall after (I think) there are two or three eggs left touching it. It's like the eggs have only so much sticky power; whereas on the short bars appearing on other screens one ball can suspend them, on this one it takes a few. The key, therefore, is to store eggs that can't create combos (or build towards them) such that they don't get in the way of your bank shots towards the lower rows. Clear out the top/middle colors to create storage room and be really careful on your bank shots towards the bottom colors. Don't block access to the bottom colors.
