Where have you looked? Craigslist, newspaper? Have you tried this one from CL?

You should keep an eye on both the Reading and Lancaster CL. If you do an apartment search you can change the type to "all housing" , set the max price to $300 (or whatever), and put the town name in the search box.

I don't know how far out you're looking...I tried Denver, Ephrata, Reinholds, Adamstown, Sinking Spring, etc.

You could also try posting to the rooms/shares area with roommate wanted.

I actually have lived in both Ephrata and Denver. When I get home I'll dig out the names of my old landlords. Keep in mind >$300/month will definitely require a roommate. I was paying $340 for a pretty dumpy one bedroom in Ephrata, and that was in 1995.

When I lived in Denver it was in a two bedroom on Fausnacht Dr; the landlord was B&F Properties. It looks like they've got some stuff in Akron, which is not at all far from Ephrata.

Can't track down who my Ephrata landlord was, but in any case, I remember they were in the process of selling it to someone else when I was moving out.

You should probably take a look through the Lancaster Online classifieds and the Lancaster Craigslist. If you're in the area already, the Ephrata Review's website is useless, but the physical paper has classifieds, too.

Good luck.
