When you masturbate for "practice" do you wear a condom?

Guys, a question about 'practice' masturbation...

If/When you masturbate for the purposes of having better control and stamina during actual sex, do you wear a condom? This would be, presumably, to give a better feel for what sex will actually feel like, and thus give you better control when you get back to partnered sexing. jackhoff@webname.com if you need it

In my experience, the additional sensation produced by a condom is negligible; the fact that it feels more or less like nothing at all is a design feature that the makers presumably are at pains to ensure.

i have always understood it to be a practice to engage in when you're afraid you'll pop too soon. having an orgasm earlier in your day is supposed to help you not have one too quickly tonight.

the condom is not relevant to it.

Condoms are for play with others.

Hell no, condoms stink of latex.

I don't wear a jacket and tie to eat noodles over the kitchen sink at home.

Doesn't make much difference from my experience. Also, the whole thing about pulling one off before you get it on so you last longer is a myth as far as I'm aware.

OT, but..

Yeah. That's too little, too late.

But, in my experience, making a regular practice of masturbating, like at least once a day, every day, works better for me. To top it off, I actually don't masturbate on the day I know I'm going to see someone. That has been the winning combination for me.

Yes, I've used thosed 'climax control' condoms since I've seemed to have developed some kind of pre-mature ejaculation problem. It can make it last for awhile, but It didn't really help during sex the one time i was able to try. Hopefully next time it will work better! Masturbating in advance before sex really hasn't helped either.

This kind of jerkin' it can be as much about dulling hypersensitivity as about mental training, in which case the condom—since it lessens sensitivity somewhat—could definitely lower your ROI. Additionally, the mental aspect can be about discovering and knowing your body's response to stimulus and approach to orgasm; this is largely condom-agnostic. Also the sensation differences between masturbation and sex are large enough as to render the condom/no-condom question moot.

I wish you the best, OP.

try masturbating with a "pocket pussy", certain brands are better then others. Just make sure it is silicone NOT JELLY! Silicone is super easy to keep clean. It will give you a more accurate feeling. Also keep in mind how different your mental state is during masturbation versus intercourse, adjusting your frame of mind is a great way to practice.
Another note, if you are trying to last longer here are a few tips...
* There are products that can help you: like desensitization gel
* Make sure you are breathing slowly and more controlled, not only will you last longer, your orgasm will too
* Through masturbation practice, you can also practice staying hard after you ejaculate
