Do you have a house to rent on Lake Winnisquam???

I would like to rent a house on Lake Winnisquam in NH but can't find anything. Its driving me crazy! I'd prefer not to go to Winnipesaukee but I will if I have to.

I've gone the usual route of cyberrentals and places like that but every online rental place has all the same stuff.
We're looking for late july or early august, 1 or 2 weeks.
We'd like a 4 bedroom house with at least two queen beds or bigger and a nice beach.
Most of what I'm finding has double beds and/or a rocky beach or beach wall and thats just not going to work for us. I'd like to be able to ski right from the property so south of the bridge is not going to work either. That appears to be where everything available is.

Now, if I can't find something on Winnisquam- a lake which I am intimately familiar with- I could settle for Winnipesaukee but really don't know anything about that lake. Its gigantic. I wouldn't even know where to start.
Any ideas? This is taking me much longer than I'd like it to.
Any advice on where to stay for 2 families with small kids on Winnipesaukee?
Thanks!

Would you consider Newfound Lake? It's a beautiful, clean, quiet lake and seems to have places available with the features you want.

Response by poster: Hi Daily,
Thanks for the quick response. Newfound is nice but its kinda far from everything. We like the proximity to the touristy things we've grown up on. Its just our thing.

Have you tried VRBO? I have found several good rentals there.

I just saw a website called otalo drift through the delicious.com/popular list.

Looks like they have 2 listings in that specific city, with many more in the area.

Response by poster: Sulaine- VRBO had one potential place. I emailed the owner. Thank you!!

Yellowbkpk- Thanks for looking but both of those are too small.
