What's that tune?

Sound Unlimited/National Sound Unlimited: Australian music program of the early 1980s. What was the music over the end credits?

It started out with some chords on an electric guitar, then a lot of violins, then more electric guitar appeared. Not a particularly helpful explanation, I know.

The film clip included a conductor in front of an orchestra, mainly when the strings were in full flight. I'm pretty sure he was wearing white.....

And that's all I remember. Please help, oh collective memory!

Response by poster: Yes, de, that's it! Love Unlimited Orchestra - Love's Theme. Very cheesy, but I loved that piece of music!

You are indeed awesome! Thanks!

@goshling: Yes, I think it was Donnie Sutherland. Cant' tell you which channel it was on, though. This mefi question was inspired after reading some history of Australian rock music programs, which got me thinking about this particular piece of music.
