I'm trying to identify a song....

I'm trying to identify a song, and the person or persons who produced it. Its chorus is "Have you forgotten (oh, oh, oh) where you've come from? (oh, oh, oh)." Ever heard of it? . . . more . . .

So I've got the song on one of my servers. It's a 3mb mp3 file, and you can give it a listen, though I don't know the copyright status of the clip. (I plan on deleting the file once someone can name it, or in a day or two, to avoid perpetual server bang.

I thought it was something, and then I thought it was something else, and then I listened and now I just want to know what it is. Never heard it, but I love it.

It sure sounds like Geggy Tah or Jamaroquai (sp).

I've googled other parts of the lyrics (like "crazy cast of characters")...nothing. This is a very catchy song.

Well, a quick scan of musicbrainz.com for songs entitled "Forgotten" turned nothing up with a runtime of 3:14. Did you guess the title or is that the one it came with?

well the beat is funky drummer, so the song might be somewhere in this list...

It sounds homemade to me. Very common drum loops, kinda poorly mixed vocals... I'd guess its "some guy" in his home studio, or a rough demo / unreleased track...
