Usability Head Hunters in California?
I'm a user interface designer / information architect looking to move to either northern california (San Francisco, San Jose, etc) or southern california (LA, San Diego). Does anyone have any recommendations for a good head hunter that specializes in my field of usability?
Or is it better to just submit my resume on company websites? Or do both?

In SF, you can mint money as a good UXD/IA person. Everyone I know is trying to hire. LinkedIn generally has a good mix of jobs posted both by recruiters and by companies - you might start there.

I agree with judith, you should have NO TROUBLE finding a UX job in northern california. And proabably a highly paid one at that. Good luck!
