Help me find a specific issue of Seventeen magazine from the 1980s

Looking for an issue of "Seventeen" Magazine from the 1980s, probably 1982-1987. The only thing I remember about it was that it had a multi-page advertorial that purported to be a diary by the niece of Lynda Carter ("Wonder Woman"). The "plot" of the diary was that the niece was visiting her famous aunt. I'm pretty sure in one entry she surprised her aunt by making chocolate-chip pancakes for breakfast. It was almost certainly a makeup advertorial, maybe Cover Girl? I would LOVE to buy this issue on eBay or wherever if I can just figure out which month and year it was. Thanks for any help.
Best answer: This might help... Lynda Carter was a spokeswoman for Maybelline cosmetics in the 1980s, not Cover Girl.

Best answer: Seconding amyms, it was Maybelline. There are some vintage (omg, when did the 80's become vintage?) ads on ebay. Here is another resource for you, especially for the full magazine.

Best answer: I found this photo on a Wonder Woman fan site, which gives a lot of info: dated 1983, the photographer's name, and the niece's name. Might help with the googling.
Or, you maybe contact the webmaster of that site?

There's a Seventeen magazine listed in Gallery 18 of the magazine section of Wonderland (can't link directly due to frames), and that's the April 1988 issue. No idea if it has what you are looking for though, but it is for sale on ebay.
I didn't notice any other Seventeens in the galleries, but I flipped through pretty fast.

Best answer: There is almost certainly a public or university library in Seattle that has bound copies of Seventeen from the '80s.
The SPL appears to have an electronic subscription to the entire run, but I don't know if it's full-text or full page-scans. Looks like the UW library has bound copies going up to Dec. 1983.
I'm not from Seattle, and so I can't think of any more libraries in the city, but you get the drift.

There is a funky little store called Magazine Memories near me in Morton Grove IL. Guy that runs its name is Bob something. It's possible he has never thrown a magazine away in his life.
good luck!

Best answer: Still don't know the month in 1983, but the entire advertorial is here. Woo!
