Looking for the name of a BBC documentary involving people performing interpretive dances which portray the lives/mating rituals of insects.

I was talking with a friend over lunch about Isabella Rossellini's recent "Green Porn" short films and the documentary in question came up. As an amateur, mainly sample-based VJ, I'm always looking for interesting material and this documentary sounds intriguing. Other suggestions are also quite welcome.

Were you looking for more on the "Green Porn" or just other suggestions? Here's the info I saw on it I saw on Treehugger recently.

To be clear, I am looking for the BBC Documentary that has dance scenes reminiscent of Green Porno, not Green Porno itself. Sorry for the muddled question!

Are you sure that it was BBC? There is Dr Tatiana's Sex Advice to All Creation which was on UK Channel 4 a couple of years ago, and is very similar to what you describe.

Perhaps you mean the truly bizarre Dr Tatiana's Sex Guide to All Creation, an evolutionary biology documentary with rather chastening musical dance scenes breaking up the facts. Put "dr tatiana" into your search engine for more detail.

This was not a BBC documentary, however -- it was on Channel 4. So perhaps it's not what you meant.

Thanks Jabberwocky and galaksit! I think that's exactly what my friend was talking about.
