Gmail Bug

I think that I found a bug in GMail, but there's no clear way for me to report it. E-mails from different people with the same subject are threading incorrectly. Any ideas?
Known bug (I think). You can send them your example at the bottom of that page.

I reported a different issue. They said they usually respond in 2 days. That was a couple weeks ago. Over all, I don't care for gmail much.
I think they need a button, amongst the "labels" to display only items with NO label. This effectively displays personal mail while hiding things like mailing list msgs.

Turkish: I designed the UI. What's the bug?
Goofyy: Do you label by hand, or use filters? If you label by hand, I suggest hitting 'archive' aftger applying the label, to get it out of your inbox. If you use filters, you should adjust them so they automatically archive messages when they apply the label.

Sorry, wasn't reading your question right. Threading is complicated. Are these mails all replies to the same 'parent' email, or just different people sending you mail with the same subject? You can drop me a line at hi at fury dot com if you want to follow up.

Also, I recently received a reply to a bug report regarding attachments which pretty much said that they were swamped and were working as fast as they can on fixing the problems people have been reporting. FYI.

Wierd. I reported a problem I was having (after exhaustively reading the known bugs and FAQ sections) and got a reply within 24 hrs. I thought that was great service.
Perhaps uptake has increased significantly since my query.

Response by poster: kfury, messages from different people with the same subject are all showing up in the same thread. Are threads determined just on the subject of the e-mail? I'm guessing not becuase you say it's a complicated issue.
Perhaps a feature where we can break-up threads at our discretion?

Response by poster: Oh, sorry -- I didn't give a complete answer. Different people sending mail with the same subject. No parent e-mail.
