History of Programming Languages Poster

Where can I buy the O'Reilly 'History of Programming Languages' poster? I checked ebay and googled around a bit, but couldn't find any for sale. I don't have plans to attend any of their conferences, is that really the only way to get one?

Best answer: Why not download the PDF and get it printed somewhere? The PDF is on the page you linked.

Meh. I think it's a valid question. Once you have the PDF, then what? Probably would be nice to know where to buy...

Well, according to teh page, it is only available via PDF and at conferences "while they last." Blah. This would mean you'd have to take the PDF to a Kinkies (or whatever they call it these days) and have them print out on their poster maker or plotter for whatever price they charge. :-( Too bad, it's pretty durned nice.

Response by poster: I think onhazier is pointing out that professional printing services will print and make a poster from a PDF, which is something that I hadn't considered.

Yes, they will. But that could be more expensive than if it were available, even WITH shipping. Then again, sometimes posters like this are tens-of-dollars. I don't know.

Response by poster: I happened to be in OfficeMax the other day and noticed they had a printing service. They were able to grab the .pdf from the site for me, print it out at about 12"x30" and laminate it for ~$30 total. It looks great.
