I'm going out to drink with a group of friends on Saturday and I need some suggestions on where to go. It has to be a lounge preferably in the East Village area or the LES. Some are looking to dance and drink, or just drink so a lounge with cheap drinks and good music (hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, rock music prefered)... Know a place?

Go to Niagara or Happy Ending.

I 2nd Happy Ending. Lots of fun. Dancing and cool crowd/scene.

Not sure what 'cheap' in NYC means though? It was average priced.

I was sent to review Bua on St. Mark's Place last week and was really pleasantly surprised. Your choice of bar or table service, very relaxed and spacious, fun music but you could talk over it. I seem to remember the beers being cheaper than I expected.
