No more bounce! Damn ye, Mac dock!

Does anyone know a way to stop icons from bouncing on the OS X doc? I'm NOT talking about unchecking "animate opening applications" in the dock preferences. That only stops opening-app bounces. I want to stop warning bounces, too. They drive me crazy. Please note that I'm using an INTEL Mac (Leopard). I've only been able to find solutions for PowerPC Macs.

Dock Detox

Open Applications > Utilities > Terminal and type the following:

defaults write com.apple.dock no-bouncing -bool true

Press Return. Log out and log back in, or reboot.

If you need to revert this setting, just do the same process and type:

defaults write com.apple.dock no-bouncing -bool false

Note that Dock Detox does not work with Intel Macs. Even if it did, it requires Application Enhancer, a piece of shit software that is probably the cause of more instability on Macs than anything in the history of Mac OS X.

momocrome, I wasn't offended by your comment. But one of the mods probably removed it, because instead of answering my question, you suggested I switch to a PC.

If you're interested in other ways to customize your Dock, open the Terminal and type:

defaults read com.apple.dock

This will list all the modifiable options, including the no-bouncing option.
