Can anyone recommend a good, affordable accountant in the New York City area? I am establishing a freelance business and will need to estimate taxes, think about eventual incorporation, etc.

I've been going to him for ages. He was recommended to me as specializing in freelancers.

My accountant is fantastic. He's also an attorney, which comes in handy in all manner of small business matters.

I live with my accountant. (Friend of a friend's family, I watch their stuff while they're gone, he lets me live here etc.)

He's a wonderful guy, he's full of character, super smart and one of the most personable people I have met, which goes miles when you need an accountant. Talk about the Yankees this season? Done. Talk New York life? No problem.

P.S. I'm also a budding freelancer and he's offered his services numerous times. He focuses mainly on taxes. He knows what he's doing.
