For austin tx cyclists: going downtown (6th, red river, etc.) for shows/clubs at night, where's your favorite place to park your bike?

There are bike racks on almost every corner along 6th. I usually park next to the Ritz (soon to be Alamo). Better to lock up someplace highly public, which will discourage some would-be thieves. My bike has never been messed with down there.

I usually pick a bike rack (on 6th) or some part of the building's structure (like next to Emo's). I'm usually locking it up next to other bikes, and I've never had a problem. knock on wood

I've parked next to various places on 4th, 6th, and Red River with no issues. Then again, my bike's not much to steal.
