Yahoo Messenger ID

When I try to log in to Yahoo Messenger, the Yahoo ID menu includes the names of everyone who ever tried to log in on my machine. Is there any way to erase this list? I've found some suggestions for the PC but none for the Mac. I'm using OSX10.4.9 and the latest and greatest version of Messenger.

on the mac, you can probably find (and trash) the preferences for yahoo messenger in /Users/[your username]/Library/Preferences

on relaunch you'll have to set all your preferences over again.

well... for future reference, that's generally the first thing to try when stuff starts going wonky, or you want to get rid of something the application doesn't want to let go. :) i'm glad it worked out.
