How to turn off magnifying glass mouse cursor in Windows XP?

Asking for a friend. He doesn't know what he does to get the magnifying cursor to come on - but if we could just turn it off without restarting the computer!

Hold down the Windows key and press U.

Under Options for Magnifier, click Stop.
