Need a band name! Can't wait to see what the AskMeFiLites come up with!

We need a name for a female vocal trio. They are - ahem - maturer ladies (i.e. not skanky ho's) singing original songs, pop-rock classics, and the odd standard: Dusty Springfield, Elkie Brooks, "Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered", etc.

Names which have been suggested but rejected:

Diva, Bella, Belladonna, Sirens.

These are all in the right area of sophisticated womanly greatness, but somehow not quite... IT!!

Ideally, it should be some kind of reflection of your band's collective talents, wishes, vision, etc. It doesn't necessarily have to overtly say "womanly vocal group". Picking a name at random that may or may feel suitable at the time might not be the best way to go. One method I've found to be useful is to kind of ritually put the question to myself then make an effort to put it out of mind as much as possible. Soon enough, the answer comes spontaneously when least expected.
