First, get a name.

Need a band name! Can't wait to see what the AskMeFiLites come up with!
We need a name for a female vocal trio. They are - ahem - maturer ladies (i.e. not skanky ho's) singing original songs, pop-rock classics, and the odd standard: Dusty Springfield, Elkie Brooks, "Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered", etc.
Names which have been suggested but rejected:
Diva, Bella, Belladonna, Sirens.
These are all in the right area of sophisticated womanly greatness, but somehow not quite... IT!!

She-3!
[Personally, I have always wanted to be in a band called Guy Smiley and the Dialing for Prizes Movie.]

My first thought was Calliope but it's been done before. How about Terpsichorean? Or just The Muses?

Frank!
If there's three of you, you could be The Graces. (I think there are nine muses. Although if you want to get cute you could be the Muse Root or something. You know.)

Dizzy, I was gonna chime in with "Kitty Katz & the Estrus Cycle," but I bow before your lexical legerdemain!

Or alternatively, The Furies! Although wikipedia notes that their number is indeterminate, that's useful if you gain or lose a member.
Or The Norns.

I used to belong to an all women group called the Bitchpipes. That name got a lot of attention. We're no longer together (and haven't been for years) so feel free to have at it.
