Who plays the Cingular guy in the Alltel food court commercial, and why have I seen him in so many commercials recently?

Although I've never seen the commercial (Is it or another ad featuring the guy on YouTube?), you may find this Slate piece about the same actors popping up in commercials interesting.

I was flipping past Nickelodeon last night and saw him on an episode of Drake & Josh - maybe he's in the IMDB for that show?
