CorelDRAW: How do I make a template of a t-shirt that I can manipulate?

Finding a line drawing of a t-shirt on the web is easy... but when i take the image into Corel, it is a bitmap...

I need to have control over the color of the t-shirt and I need to be able to add graphics to the t-shirt.

Basically, this is my first time using CorelDRAW and I need to get this project out ASAP so ANY help or advice is welcome.

You could trace the outline of the shirt by manipulating lines and nodes, then delete the bitmap. You could also start by taking the letter T in a fat, open font, like Indiana, click Arrange, then Convert to Curves, and double click with the shape tool to delete the nodes you dont want. Move the nodes that are left into a shirt shape.
