Going to Hawaii next week. Would love to see Martin Denny, but (RIP). Would love to see Arthur Lyman, but (RIP). Who/What is the next closest, living thing? Vibes are a must. I'll be on the big island.

I have almost no help for you. You could see if Technical Difficulties is playing if you're going to be on the East Side. Not exactly what you're looking for, but they're at least good. Might try emailing Glenn or checking their MySpace page, that website looks like it hasn't been updated in awhile.

Martin Denny sounds like this. Arthur Lyman sounds pretty much the same. It's lounge/tiki/exotic music.
