HoustonBeerFilter: Help me find out what that microbrew is!!

Okay, this weekend I did the Rice Villiage thing, and hit up Baker St. and Brian O'Neill's. At O'Neills, they have a beer on tap that is a light bodied beer with a red tap. It's got a two part name. If I remember correctly, the first name starts with an A and is a woman's name.

Anyone know what it is?

Saint Arnold's. It's a local brewery. See:

St. Arnold's Elissa IPA?

Response by poster: No, I'm sure it's not St. Arnold's.

I've never heard of this particular brand before I drank it the other night.

It's not listed on the website. I checked there first. I was hoping a local would see this and know it...

I'm not a local and I've definitely never been to the bar in question, but could it maybe be Stella Artois? It's got a red tap and fits your "woman's name" hint. It's pretty common (read: ubiquitous) on draft here on the East Coast, but perhaps it's just becoming popular in the South, and that's why you haven't come across it before?

Response by poster: Stella Artois!

Thanks, Slender. You win!

No, I haven't even heard of it, and I was told by the bartender that it was a local microbrew. Guess he didn't know his stuff.

Anyhow, I liked it. Not too complicated, and went down easy.
