Help me entertain my gamer buddy in Toronto next week!

So my good friend is driving up to see me in Toronto next week. He's around the same age as me - early twenties - and a pretty fanatical gamer. I include this detail because I'm not sure where to take him and what to do.

We're a bit limited on time because he's driving a long way, and then we're also going on a mini roadtrip during half of his visit. He's fairly introverted and not going to want to do something like go out clubbing. He's pretty adventurous once you get him motivated, but knows nothing about this city and doesn't have any ideas whatsoever, and I'm a shameful guide.

I don't want him to end up spending three or four days sititng in my house doing nothing, nor to come home to find games installed on my laptop. I want him to go home saying "wow. TO was awesome."

Please help me think of things to do, places to see, etc.. that he can go do while I'm at work during the day, and also things we can do together in the evenings. Bonus points for things that are free/cheap, easily accessable, and interesting...Thanks in advance!

In Mississauga it's not the most accessible (I miss the downtown location), but Playdium might be worth a visit for a gamer...

It looks like there are some cool things to do on this Toronto Trip Advisor page.

If he's into Magic (or other collectable card games), you've got to visit 401. I haven't played for years, but I hear the place is still packed with tables/players..

Silver Snail, clearly. (Queen W. at Peter).

Black Market (Queen W. at John, downstairs, just west of Ho Su).

Insomnia.

Silver Snail, clearly.

For sure. And also, The Beguiling.

And while at The Beguiling, why not drop in to Suspect Video next door?

Also, if he's into art at all, there's an Andy Warhol show at the AGO co-curated by David Cronenberg.
