Word most decidedly not Perfect

I have to use WordPerfect at work, and an awful thing started happening today out of nowhere-- whenver I type a comma, WordPerfect types a comma period-- so it looks like this ",." instead of just ","....how do I fix this permanently??? I have no idea what caused it to start happening. It's driving me insane.
Does this happen in other applications?
It's clearly not happening in his web browser.

I don't really know WordPerfect, but could it be similar to Microsoft Word and the AutoCorrect function has an error? The AutoCorrect function is under the tools menu.

Robot Johnny: I see no mention of Harvey's backspace key being broken.
Harvey: I don't use WordPerfect, so I can't help much - but others may be able ot help you better if you include the version of WordPerfect (click the "help" menu, then click "about" if you don't know the version).
TheRaven's advice about checking to see if this happens in other applications is sound, and will tell you if the problem is with WordPerfect or not.
Also, when dealing with a somewhat esoteric issue like this, it may not be a bad idea to email the Word Perfect technical support group.

It's QuickCorrect in WP, but that does seem like the most likely culprit.

Also having never used Word Perfect but OpenOffice Writer has an AutoComplete thing that always messes up my typing when I'm not paying attention and haven't turned it off. Might also be something like this.

True, but then the question would've been "what's wrong with my keyboard?"

Is WPerfect set to show paragraph marks, and may be showing spaces as dots that look like periods? (In Word, it's called Show/Hide.) Do they show on printing?

It is definitely quick correct. Do this:
1. Click Tools on the Menu bar in WordPerfect
2. Choose Quick Correct
3. Scroll through the list and see if in the replace field you see , and in the with field you see ,.
4. If you do, just delete the entry.
