Help me create a slide show on an iBook

What app do I use to make a slide show on an iBook?
My Teacher Wife is trying to create a slide show on her school loaned iBook. So far I've been able to burn a CD which is now loaded and recognized on her iBook. Supposedly there is a very simple app that will automatically create a slide show.
The pics are of her 5th grade graduation party and she would like to be able to share them on Monday.
Any help/tutoring would be greatly appreciated!
I also have Win XP but I don't think it's compatible with her Mac stuff at school.

Oh also, if you have the CD burned, this program works from inside the same directory as the photo files, so you might need to create a local directory instead of a CD if you go the QuickSlides route.

Does her iBook have iPhoto? If so, that can create a nice slideshow.
If her iBook has MacOS X 10.4.x on it and no iPhoto, open Preview (Applications / Preview) and drag all the images onto its icon. In the View menu, select Slideshow. Tada. (The same slideshow UI can be had by doing a search for Images in the folder where all her images are. Doing it in Preview, though, lets you have a bit more control. e.g., you can reorder the images in the drawer, rotate / crop images, etc.

Response by poster: I can't thank you guys enough for the quick responses. She did have a really old version of iPhoto but it worked and looks aweswome! Sorry for being such a noob but I've never touched an iBook before and know nothing about it.
After this experience I think I'm becoming a fan. Thanks again.

I've used Boinx FotoMagico before to create some nice slideshows. It's got a few more features than iPhoto and is much more conducive to actually creating a presentation of slides instead of just rotating pictures.

Is there a version of MS Office X or MS Office 2004 for Mac on it? If so, there's always PowerPoint, which will be about 98% compatible with the Windows version (we do this routinely where I work).

Just for the sake of mentioning it, GraphicConverter does good sideshows with lots of options.

If the iBook is running OS X 10.4, you can create an instant no-muss-no-fuss slideshow by selecting the images in the Finder, right-clicking them, and choosing "Slideshow" from the context menu. It's nice looking, too.

Open Office has a powerpoint clone that can be saved as flash.
