What are your favorite blog/news sites?

What are your favorite blog/news sites on a specific subject?
I'm building a collection of regularly updated blogs/news sites - sites you visit daily to monthly for interesting, informative or useful links or content on a given topic.
Some examples, BLDG Blog for architecture, History Topic of the Week or Month or Something for history, Language Log for linguistics, Future Feeder for futuristic stuff.
It doesn't matter too much what the subject is, as long as the links or info is tasty. Thanks in advance for links!

For Latin American-related links and analysis, try Beautiful Horizons. It's heavily World Cup-ified right now, but the May 2005 archive is a good place to start.

Xbox 360 Fanboy for Xbox 360 news.
I quite enjoy Go Fug Yourself too.

The bookslut blog, although when they get excited about a title they can become a little monomaniacal (okay, you liked King Dork, we get it).

Response by poster: These are great so far, exactly what I am after, thanks! If further explanation be needed for the problem behind the question; firstly, I have an obsessive, voracious love of news/knowledge, and I find this medium perfect for my autodidactic needs; secondly, I'm trying to make a resource for this sort of thing.

The Horror Channel seems to be undergoing a bit of an upheaval, but it's been an excellent daily source for horror industry news.

Fullasagoog is a cool aggregator of Macromedia Adobe blogs. They are mostly blogs of the employees, but there are quite a few other web design related blogs on there as well.
