Simon-Aire PTAC Unit?

I'm looking for a replacement PTAC unit for my apartment in New York City and one option my super recommended was a Simon-Aire installed by Figlia & Sons. The reviews I've found online are extremely negative on both counts but my super says many people in my building have these units and use this company and have only had good experiences. Does anyone have any experience with this brand or this company?

Observation: Simon-aire is a house brand of Figlia, so you will need to go through them for all parts/service. I'd go with someone that has wider distribution (like Friedrich), personally, but there is value to having the same thing as everyone else in the building since techs will likely have already dealt with your building in the past.

[I belatedly realized I should have said: don't assume your super is correct. Kickbacks are a thing that happens. If you know people in the building, or happen across them in the doorway/whatever, consider asking about what unit they have.]

Response by poster: Thanks. I should clarify that this was just one option he mentioned. Not everyone in the building uses this brand/company. I’m trying to decide between options and was just surprised by the difference between his recommendation of this as an option and what I’m seeing others say about it. The other options all seem reasonable and have good reputations. The difference is so large that I was wondering if there’s something I’m missing here.
