What creators can I follow/watch who just loooove making stuff out of trash?

I personally love making things out of trash and I like watching people who love to make stuff out of trash and talk about how great making things from trash is.

I suppose I mean the concept of "making do," upcycling, recycling, mending. But there's a couple creators who revel in that it's specifically trash that was going to be thrown away but instead they made something amazing out of it.

Examples are:

1. Studson Studio: I made this Mario Odyssey miniature out of Garbage
2. The environmentalist drag queen Pattie Gonia: TRASH BUT MAKE IT FASHION

Do you know any other trashcore creators like this? Who proudly love garbage?

(To make this post more respectable, I'm guessing I love these videos & creators because they're a balm to consumerism, and more specifically, how whenever you get into an art or craft you are supposed to go spend money on a bunch of new things or watch youtube tutorials where the person has an amazing and beautiful studio and a million very specific one-job tools and everything is perfect. I love the idea that instead of that, you can go make some stuff out of what you already have.)

Best answer: I also think Studson Studio is probably best in class at this.

You may like Dollightful, specifically her stockbox series. Her whole channel has a let's not waste any of this vibe, but her stockbox series in particular is more specifically focused on reusing and repurposing than her regular content.

Bentley House Minis makes miniatures & dioramas out of recycled and repurposed stuff. She does unboxings, except instead of what that means for most of youtube, it's her and other crafters that have crammed a box full of their own trash to send and share with their friends.

Best answer: Check out Bill Making Stuff on youtube. He transforms odds and ends into nerdy artifacts, mostly tabletop game bits -- terrain, figures, that kind of thing.

Crafsman SteadyCrafting does some of this to, tho it's not a primary focus of his channel. Crafsman is a damn treasure, his bob ross vibe is solid.

Best answer: It depends on what your definition of "trash" is but Tim Sway makes stuff, mostly musical instruments, out of reclaimed items such as hollow core doors and water skis. He's very anti-consumer and generally seems like a decent human being who wants to do good.

(fun fact: I once made part of a MeFi secret swap gift out of some wood Tim sent me that had been reclaimed from a schooner from, like, the 1890s or something. I don't even know the guy, I just asked him for some and he sent it to me. He's good people.)

This is a great opportunity to post my Great-Aunt Rosie's scupltures - the family business was a scrapyard for most of her life, and she took up welding. Every time I visited Grandma (who lived down the street), we'd go visit her and I would admire her poodle.. (That's my personal album - if you want professional photos and an article, here's one.)
