Empty punch waste on Kyocera Taskalfa 2553ci

This is a ridiculous question and I can't believe I'm asking it but, here we are. I need to empty the punch waste - where the little holes go when they have been punched - from the office copier / printer, a Kyocera Taskalfa 2553ci, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how.

I have followed the steps on the little screen. They get me to the staples. According to the diagram, there's a container right there. I do not see it. I have pulled out the staples and looked behind them, no container. I have googled and found nothing but a probably malware infested skeevy site that purports to offer me a copy of the user manual for a fee. If all else fails I can call the leasing company and they can send a tech out from Portland but that will take days and cost $$ to the vocal irritation of the business office. Please, if by some crazy chance you have done this, pass your knowledge along!

Best answer: here 's a link to the manufacturers site which has an operations manual for download. All 735 pages.

Page 558 section 10-20 has instructions and diagrams "Disposing of punch waste"

Response by poster: For any future frustrated people, the box is really hard to find even with the diagram on page 558. It is on the right, tucked in deep and not near the staples at all.
