More Podrunner please!

Does anyone else do anything like Podrunner?

I really enjoy the podrunner mixes - the only problem is that my tempo is 160 or so - and DJ Steveboy has not done a 160 yet. Anyone know of other podcasts or websites where I can find more stuff like this for running?

In iTunes Music store under podcasts (total 4 pages of music podcasts), I found Sasha's Pod's, Electronic Periodic, and Trance Rotation.

I'd love to hear about more house, techno, etc. podcasts too.

I've found i like it much more for background music while working than for running, but i've only ran to the newest one as of yet.

In the UK, Pete Tong is an dance music institution. Try the Tongcast, a great selection and good for working out.

so much of an institution that "it's all gone a bit Pete Tong" has entered the language.

Response by poster: Darn - I was hoping for more of this. I really want mixes that are all the same BPM for pacing. Thanks for the other links - I think my Acid software might be able to force a long track into one BPS if it's close.

DJ Fleep posts his club mixes for download. Many hours of deep house grooves can be had.

Best answer: I discovered Podrunner due to this question - and now I like his mixes so much I donated a few dollars to him. I received an e-mail saying he's making a series (of at least 10) podrunner mixes for subscribers. You might be interested in subscribing for these mixes.

I'm really into this now, as I love the 130-150 bpm range for working out on an elliptical, it really keeps my feet moving. I've use Mp3directcut to reverse the order of the mixes he's done - moving the last half to the front. I know, this is kind of like using a rusty axe to cut a craftsman table in half, but you use the tools you have.


I've also found this series of mixes http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=creator:%22Flower%20Powder%22 which are in the public domain and are in the 142-148 bpm range. You were looking for 160, so this may not be helpful.
