How can I change a relationship on LinkedIn Recommendation
June 20, 2019 3:14 AM   Subscribe

A woman I know and like has asked me for a recommendation. Happy to do so! However, LinkedIn insists she was senior to me when we simply worked together. She doesn't know if she did that by mistake, but neither of us can seem to find any way to change or fix it. Any suggestions?

I've tried ignoring her request. I've tried going to her profile and initiating a recommendation myself. All to no avail. It continues to say Charlie Brown (was senior to you) in the potential recommendation. She's also tried to cancel or withdraw it, but it was not possible.

Response by poster: Sorry! Mystery solved! It turns out, for future reference, that there are all kinds of LinkedIn functions which cannot be accessed on the app but for which you must use a laptop. Once she accessed it via the browser, we were able to change the relationship.
