Philanthropic Organizations To Target For Sponsorship of TED-like Event

We are in the process of looking for financial sponsorship for upcoming (and awesome) Buckminster Fuller themed event. The event will emphasize Fuller's ongoing influence in science, architectural design, engineering and art. What general philanthropic organizations/businesses can we target for financial sponsorship. To all Los Angeles Me-fites, specific possibilities would be appreciated

Best answer: Have you approached architects and engineering companies? I would go to the library and look at Metropolis, Engineering Record, Architectural Record, and contact all the advertisers. Disney may also be a good sponsor.
