video watermarking?

Whenever I watch .mov files now (like these: 1, 2, 3), I get small, vertical colored bars that randomly pop into the video, then fade after a few seconds. I also get this on old .mov files on my computer that didn't have it before I installed the newest version of quicktime. What's up with that?

No, really! I do see vertical bars on .mov files! I'm not crazy. C'mon guys. Anyone? Anyone?
