Repair vinyl jacket

I have a favourite vinyl jacket that I accidentally sprayed with perfume and now the top layer has bubbled away from the padding. How can I repair it? Or at least stop it from getting worse?

My favourite vinyl jacket has a 3cm across bubble where I hit it with perfume. Is there a way I can stop it from getting worse or ripping a hole? Ideally can I get the top layer astute back down? A patch won't work but other ideas gratefully considered!

Best answer: It might be a bit scary but you could make a small cut and then put a suitable glue between the padding and the vinyl layer. I'd look for a thin fabric glue. If the glue is thin enough you might even be able to put it in a syringe and inject it... no cutting required. Possibly even from the inside?

Response by poster: Thanks, at the moment this is my only option as long as I use a glue that isn't going to melt the vinyl further. Thank you!
