Selected Umbrellas

[UmbrellaFilter] I'd like to get one of those snazzy umbrellas as seen in the Windowlicker video (by Aphex Twin). Does anyone know if it's possible, or where? For those who haven't seen the video, it's an old-fashioned-looking umbrella, white, with the logo on the cover of Selected Ambient Works as shown in the link.

Let me just say that I regret researching this question.

Response by poster: Heh. Yeah, I chose not to link the video itself given the... interesting visual sensibilities of the musician in question. No idea on the umbrella, then, I assume?

It looks like something that was created especially for the video. I'd be pretty surprised if these were ever mass produced.

Yeah, dhartung, Aphex Twin videos are usually rather... unusual.

In interviews RDJ has indicated that he enjoys the scarcity of his music/t-shirts/stickers, etc. I distinctly remember him joking about losing his 1G iPod on an airplane that was full of some of his unreleased, un-backed-up music.

I would love such an umbrella, actually, but I highly doubt they are manufactured. The best way to find out might be to E-mail Rephlex Records or query the Warp Records-Warp Mart.

Man, I loved that video when it came out, Chris Cunningham directed videos are usually very weird and cool. I wish i knew where to get one of those umbrellas, I would feel right nifty

Actually it isn't such a crazy idea that such an item should be available - Axis Records, label of techno underground uber god Jeff Mills did a limited quantity of umbrellas a few years ago which were available to uber nerds like myself direct from his website.

Response by poster: I'm not seeing any indications of contact information on Rephlex's site. Anyone know how to get hold of them?
