Mystery thing

I'm kind of wondering what this thing I received in the mail is supposed to be. It showed up in a mailing from DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and appears to be made of some springy parachute cordage in obviously camo coloration. It's too big to be a bracelet and too small to be a headband. So Mefites, your guess?

Is it adjustable, at the clasp?

Best answer: It's a paracord bracelet.

Best answer: LOoks like it's meant to be an adjustable paracord survival bracelet.

Best answer: Paracord. Usually is intended to be a bracelet (or keyring?) that you can unwind to use as a piece of handy rope in a "survival situation". It's kind of a trendy outdoorsy thing to wear that turns into something useful.

It looks like a smaller version of a survival bracelet. Made with paracord, some come with fire starters and such.

They were in the last Mad Max, so of course they make sense as a promotional item.

Best answer: From the DAV's "gift shop" web site (and as mentioned above), it's a paracord bracelet: https://www.mylogogear.com/shop/20150515001/p-73304.htm

If it's too big to be a bracelet, then maybe it's an anklet.

Omg, is it a paracord choker? Late 90's fashion is really making a comeback.

Pull on the knots under the metal clasp thing. I bet it will get smaller, and you can adjust it to fit your wrist. Some of these are meant to be worn as a looser bracelet, or be attached by a slipknot to your gear.
