What's a good song or songs that have a message along the lines of "yes things got really messed up between us due to your actions but I have thought about it and am willing to forgive your with the hope that things will be good again" or the closest approximation?

Janet Jackson's "Again" is about resisting this temptation but in the end the character admits she, against her better judgement, does love the person again.

Pink's duet "Just Give Me a Reason" is about a relationship on the rocks that both people want to work out but they're misunderstanding each other. Not exactly the same but close.
