Non-scammy ringtones for iPhone?

I'm sick of my ringtones, and would like a new one. Ideally free, but pay is OK, too. I have an iPhone, and specifically I'd like Olivia Pope's ringtone. Googling this is a big ole mess, and the App store is no better. Every webpage and app look like they are designed specifically to brick the phone. Halp.

Best answer: Cleartones is probably the best collection of minimalist ringtones. You'll probably find a similar one there.

Best answer: If you have/can sync your phone with a computer with Itunes you can turn just about any MP3/audio file into a ring tone.

Best answer: Is this it? I put the mp3 up and also converted it to an iPhone m4r.

You can use the one I made ages ago. It definitely gets your attention.

As a general instruction for how to convert mp3 to m4r files (the file format that works directly as a ringtone, using just an mp3 and iTunes on a computer (you'll need to edit the mp3 using Audacity or the like unless it's already the right length you want, etc.):

http://howto-themes-for-iphones.blogspot.com/2009/12/how-to-convert-mp3-to-m4r.html

This article is a couple of years old and is Windows-PC centric, but I believe it could be done on a Mac as well. (on edit, Captain Science's link above is newer and Mac-centric)

It seems like the sort of thing Apple could turn into one button push, except that it might diminish the scammy ringtone business

(I have Kurt Wallander's ringtone from the BBC Wallander production converted to apple ringtone if anyone wants it. :-) )

One of my developers turned this profanity-laced tirade he found into a tone that went off whenever his co-worker, who sat right next to him, texted him (his texts were usually stupid questions that he didn't want to ask out loud). Yeah, my developer is a little passive-aggressive.
