Seeking super simple calendar app

So, I currently have a system where when I accomplish a certain daily goal, I stick a star sticker on a physical calendar. Now I want to keep doing that, but on my phone!

My current calendar method is fun, but my job is changing to a new role where I'll be at multiple sites and not always at my desk to stick the sticker each day. I could try to keep track and catch up when I'm in the office, but I feel that this method is prone to failure (and I wouldn't get the fun sticker moment each day!)

I would like to try transitioning to an app on my iPhone if there's something out there with similar functionality. What I want is basically a calendar app where all it does is display the calendar for each month, and when you tap a particular day, it adds a star (or whatever - a checkmark or heart or something else would be fine).

It needs to work on an iPhone, and I would be willing to pay up to $5 or so if it is really pretty.

This one uses stickers, but only in month view. According to the creator, they are CUTEEEEEEEEE. Free to try, upgrade to Pro for $7.

I think Goal Streaks would work for this - it displays the days of the month and lets you check off each day.

Chains.cc is a (free) service with a (not-free but within your budget) companion app that does this.

There's a whole subcategory of "habit-building" apps that do this--if you search for "calendar habit" on the app store, you'll find a bunch. This one is free and simple and seems to do exactly what you want.

Good Habits does this, if you prefer simple over cute.

Alternatively, use a smaller calendar, smaller stickers, and keep it in your car. And congratulations on keeping your good habit going.
