What's my best option for streaming tomorrow's Republican debate to my Roku?

It looks like CNN is opening the feed to tomorrow night's debate so all can watch on various devices. Rather than sit in front of my computer, I'd prefer to stream it to my Roku. I see there are quite a few apps out there that allow you to push a web address to a roku. I also saw this. The options in the link seem a bit iffy and I'm not sure which apps really work well (I previously tried AirCast and didn't have much luck). I have a Windows PC (OS7), an Android phone and an iPad mini 2 if that helps. Thanks.

I would go with Sling TV, using the free 7-day trial if you don't already subscribe.

i had been using playon to stream the 'web-only' stuff from hulu that wasn't available on the hulu app for roku... i also used it for streaming youtube and some local media. they've done a lot of updates over the past two years to stream just about anything to your roku from a web browser on your local pc.

i haven't used it much in the past year as both my free time and the web-only hulu stuff have been on the decline.

I have Roku and have loaded the Nowhere Man channel. They have CNN International, which I believe is carrying the debates.

There's a link at the cordcutternews page that shows how to load it.

I was going to suggest the same thing. I just signed up for Sling, have been using it with Roku 3, and it will do exactly what you want it to do.
