Timeful substitutes?

I love the Timeful app, but it's been sold to Google and is about to shut down. I know that there aren't any time management apps as good as Timeful, but are there any potential substitutes that will get me through? The scheduling capability is what I'm after: I want to be able to give a task and a completion date and have the work scheduled for me. Ideas much appreciated!

I'm heartbroken to lose Timeful too.

Let me explain the scheduling for people who haven't used it. Timeful looks at all your calendars (work, google, whatever) and shows them on one screen. When you add a task you give it a duration and it finds an appropriately sized gap across all calendars.

I've been hunting since the original Google takeover and I haven't found anything similar.

Timeful is such a niche product and that's potentially why you're not getting any responses. It might be useful for you to explore the plethora of task management systems out there - e.g. Getting Things Done (GTD) or Pomodoro - and perhaps put up another Ask on which one would best fit your workflow?

I personally use GTD, with OmniFocus as my Mac/iPad/iPhone application of choice.
